LOL! I know about the somatiform disorders, i learned about them in school. I have a feeling there's something wrong on the inside that had been trying to get my attention, for some months now. I don't think I'm paranoid, if i was, i would have been having these feelings for some years now. I'll go check myself out, well visit a physician. I hope I get this eradicated. Let me know what you find out, once you get yourself checked out. Also, how do you perceive yours, what does it smell or feel like?. Sometimes I feel kinda like a burning sensation, once in a while, sometimes before taking a shower (then odor), or after shower as the day progresses.
Someone gave me an analogy about the body being like a plastic bottle. If it gets filled up with any (that may have a strong smell to it). Even though it may be sealed tightly, pressure builds up, and if the pressure in it is not released gases (reflecting the smeell of the bottle's content) seeps out. So unless the bottle gets emptied and cleaned out, the smell still lingers in the bottle and minute amouunt seeps out in the form of the gas odor.
Hope you understand this analogy, thanks, later.

Thanks for the quick reply, yes, I was making a suggestion about the paranoia, I hope you did not get offended. I like the analogy haha, a little confusing but it made sense. Hmm, as for how my odor feels and smells, it feels like regular body odor, I sweat and my armpits begin to smell. Simple as that, I don't really get any irritation or anything like that. My body odor is moderate smelling, it used to be pretty mild, but since the problem started, it has been stronger smelling. I'm guessing this is due to bacteria build up or something like that because I have not found a product that really kills off bacteria like I had when I didn't have this problem. I heard zinc deficiency can cause body odor so I'm going to start taking zinc supplements on a regular basis. Have you tried zinc?

hey, i wasn't offended, thats why I like blogs like these. You can speak your mind truthfully, at least. Anyway, I started taking zinc, ca++, mg++ supplements, all three in one. But then I haven't taken it for 2 days now. I think you'd better consult with a doctor, first because you might have something wrong with any of the systems (bodily), that needs to be working inorder to excrete by-products of the supplements. I'm going to see a doctor tomorrow, I hope I get some positive feedback.
Thanks, later.

Hey, good luck at the doctors. I hope he/she can help you out. I will definatly see a doctor as soon as possible. As for now, I'll just use the crystal deodorant and shower twice daily. Let me know how things go, peace.

hi, happy belated merry xmas. I went to see my doc, I'm thinking about switching physicians, now!. Anyway, the doctor was suggesting I tried normal remedies, which I'm aware of and have tried. I was also told that she didn't perceive any smell on me, although she didn't sniff me, by the way it was still earlier and a couple of hours after I took a shower- so she wouldn't perceive anything.
She said she'd consult with a dermatologist, and would get back in touch with me regarding the dermtologists suggestions. I told her about the analogy I described to you about pressure escaping from a sealed bottle- remember? She chuckled a lil', then tried to retain composure. I would go see her again, this time if I don't seem to be getting anywhere, I'll switch her by this week. she asked if i used deoderants, i told her sometimes. She said that might be the reason. I told her that I never used to "have to" wear deoderants, and then i didn't emit any kinda odors. i also told her of the stigma associated with the odor, almost making me fail fall 2006 semester at school, which could prevent me from graduating next semester. 'cos of ppl's rxn when seated beside me.
I could sense she thinks i'm paranoid. what i want is a complete detoxification process of my GI tract. then I'd see if the issue lingers.
I don't wanna have to wear deoderant to mask any odor. I long for those days when i'd even go days to weeks when I didn't have to wear deoderant and no amount of smell was emitted. I told her the smell is foul, she said "whats your definition of foul?" She's kinda young, maybe i'd request for a physician who's a lil' older and slightly more empathetic.
Do you think that the odor could be from the possibility of someone "being full of shit" i mean poop?. Or maybe a or any rotten organ?
later, peace.

I could believe that perhaps you are carrying a lot of toxins and that is why you smell. I'm suprised you want to smell good without the use of deodorant. I use an antiperspirant/deodorant and I still smell, that's my issue. Almost everyone in this world smells when they don't use deodorant. It's just a natural process of the body. The deodorant/antiperspirant makes the skin too acidic for the odor causing bacteria to live, thus eliminating odor. I don't see what's wrong with using one. I recommed just using one and not worrying about. Maybe I'm misinterpreting your posts and if that's the case I'm sorry, but it seems to me that you don't have a problem?

i do use deoderants, but i guess it becomes too used to my body composition and it is not effective anymore. this happens with almost every brand of deoderant i have used. like today i used deodernt and later in the evening, the smell started again.. i understand, but i have used deoderant since i hit puberty, but sometimes i didn't use it yet i didn't emit any odors. I really have to go see someone, but i don't know who. Oh lest i forgot, i got a reply from my doctor. I was adviced to eat a low fat/cholesterol/salt diet and exercise. whats that gonna do?
later.

Yah I know what you mean, ive found some great deodorant that work amazing for like 10 days, and then they stop. And yes, the doctors can't seem to offer any good advice. It's almost a hopeless case. You've got to see a specialist who can hopefully prescribe you a really strong antibacterial medication. Or perhaps see an internist who can check out your liver and stuff.

hey, thanks 4 your posting.
I got some really info on body odor and weakend immune system. It says to detoxify the liver and intestines because they might be clogged up. I think I'd ask my doctor for how to go about it. Foods that one eats can culminate to odors. Especially toxins that don't have a way out of one's system. I'll let you know how it goes.
By the way, do you haave any suggestions on how to self detoxify one's system?
