That is true about it not lasting 8 months if it was was an infection, but some infections are really bad and I have not been on any meds, so I wouldn't doubt the fact that it could be the reason. It seems that when I apply strong antibacterial stuff to it, the odor goes away for awhile, so I'm thinking it's bacterial. I'll talk to the doctor about it though. I would definatly not go by other peoples reactions to determine whether you smell. You'll become paranoid and go crazy. Trust me, people scratch their nose out of habit or just because it itches for no reason. They also cover their noses out of habit. Even I do it sometimes for no reason. I think in earlier posts you said your family thought you were just paranoid, do you think this could just be it? There is a disease called body dysmorphic disorder where people think they have body odor when they don't. They believe this solely on the reactions of others, and not on their own sense of smell.
