» hadenuff3 - reason for information

This is the reason why all of us are here trying to find solutions to this problem. We have all gone to different areas on the internet and joined our thoughts. This one, really is scary! If you do go into the MSDS report it points out the hazards of using anti-freeze on the skin even short term. So we are back now to the beware of what is printed and said. Just remember this goes along with the rubbing alcohol, witch hazel, lemon juice, turnips, radishes, peanut butter, etc just beware of what you do check out everthing!

In response to reason for information posted by hadenuff3:
Has anyone written to a major skin care company like Unilever or Colgate (Speed Stick)? Perhaps they can help you find a product that will work for you. They have plenty of chemists designing their products, so they might have something that will work.

i have been following you all's postings, from the 2002 (i think) postings till now. It overwhelms me that no one seems to have a cure for whatever it is that causes the odor. its nerve wrecking. It has hindered me socially, but i have to go to school. i graduate next semester but i dont look forward to being in class due to having to sit so close to some ppl who r so insensitive and tricklishly try to cover their noses. The weird thing is that I asked my sister's fiancee and my sister and my mom about whether they smell anything on me, but they say no. We have a principle in which our yes is yes and no is no, so i know they r'nt lying to me. But its just ppls rxn i pay attention to that relays to me that there's a possibility i stunk or something. My family r even thinking i should maybe go for psychiatric evaluation due to my paranoia. I really dont know what to do, but just keep prayin.

Hey Nevab, I think you're probably just paranoid. If your family is honest about everything, I'm sure they're telling you the truth. I think people get paranoid when they see people touch their noses around them and sniff and whatnot. Chances are they just have a cold or something. If they cough and yell around you and tell you that you stink, then maybe you're not paranoid. Either way, just be confident and hopefully you'll get through this.

I don't think you are being paranoid (though I hope that's it). It seems that stress trigers it or something. Same thing happes to me. I rarely feel I smell when I'm home with my family, or even close friends, but as soon as I go out and I'm around other people it gets really bad.

Hey everyone, I've had some luck with Mitchum Unscented Roll-On. It keeps me dry and it's antibacterial so it fights odor well. My only complaint is that it has a very faint smell to the product that smells like a chemical or something. I don't know how to explain it, but it could just be they way my body chemistry mixes with it. Anyways, it's probably worth a try. I tried the gel version back in April and it didn't work for me, but they claim they've improved the formula so I'm going to try it again. Best of luck everyone.

» nevab4 - thank God

Hey guys, hope every1 is ok. Sunday morning, I was very fed up with everything even thought, just thought, about suicide on thursday. Anyway, sunday morning, I told my sister that I was very depressed and felt suicidal. Then she told me to go get ready for church. We had just woken up, we didn't take showers, but went in our jeans and t-shirts. Then scurried along. As we got to church, it was about done but we listened to the rest of the sermon. After church there is this session that my sister and I commit to, just a follow- up session after deliverance(which was about2-3 weeks ago). As the prayer warrior man was advicing us about how to retain our breakthroughs, I was frustrated and started to cry(but not loudly, though. But with sniffles), soliciting with God in my mind to take away any smell in my armpit. Then she pacified me, and suggested I saw the man that was talking to us. I stubbornly stuck with my instinct to see the pastor. Anyway, I saw the pastor, he prayed for me. He told me he didn't smell nothing on me. Mind u all, I had no deoderant on me, and had not taken a shower. In essence, today I went on my clinical rotation, for my nursing class and I didnt smell nothin on myself, and I believe no one smelt nothin on me. Its a miracle. Pls all, I believe the only key to the abrupt end of this odor thing is to believe in Jesus, son of God. It works. Today I didnt use no deoderant, and there wasn't the slightest, u know?, those "faint little odors" which was my problem. Nada, nothing was there. God is miraculous. With all sincerity, if you asked him to do it, he will. On a last note, the wisdom in which people got inorder to be able to prescribe medications, and remedies that ain't working and those that are, is from God. Why go to the apprentice, when you can get what you want from the master physician(God)?. Im usually skeptical about telling ppl 'bout christ, being a young adult in these modern times, but its a realization that just dawned on me, after clinicals today.
Thanx all, and God bless.

Thanks for sharing Nevab, I am very happy for you. I myself am not Christian, but I find that my faith in God has helped me get through my struggles. I feel like I am so close to finding a cure for my armpit odor problems. I keep motivated by reminding myself of the carefree days I had before I got this problem. Best of luck everyone, I am praying for you all. Please do the same for me.
